Yay! New template for the coming season! Didn't take me much time to look for it though. :P

So bored from studying and that's why I'm here! 3 more finals to go before I'm able to enjoy a little break from everything. Feels like I'm at a corner with all the stuff that I'm going through right now. Grrr. Snowball fights anyone?? There's tonnes of unwanted snow out there waiting to be utilized!:P

San Francisco! You wait for me! I'll be there in 4 more days! Loh Wan Yi! You too!:P What are the plans though? I'm clueless..XD We'll see how everything goes!:D

Well this is probably only gonna last till tmr morning when I gotta shove all the snow on my car before going for work! Not gonna like that so much..grrr

I'm back in Wisconsin! I should be feeling happy and glad to be here but there's just a weird feeling in me that keeps clinging onto the summer months..

I'm missing the days where I get on track and on schedule and accomplish goals that I set for myself..

I'm missing the days where I get back home and Momo would have food ready for me!:P

I'm missing the days when I get into my car, start driving myself to work, and either listening to the radio or talking to people on the phone..

I'm missing the pillow talks I have with Momo and Hien about everything and Momo's laughter..

I'm missing all my Mrs Jones and how nice they have been to me although there were some that were mean too..:)

I'm missing all the Sunday meetings when we finally meet each other after a long week and how our hearts wrench when it's time to leave..

I'm missing all the stupid stuff that we do at our headquarter..

Just a random question. :D

Well, the rookie that lived with me left today when she was only two days away from heading down to the beach! I don't know what's she thinking when she made that decision but I hope she doesn't regret what she did.

Left a note which was pretty emotional and I keep questioning myself if I did my part as being her manager who was supposed to guide her along the way. That definitely taught me how to be more concerned about people the next time I meet someone.

On the other hand, ONE MORE DAY BEFORE I HEAD DOWN TO THE BEACH!!!

just caught my attention and i feel like it explains me right now. A fragile structure that is made stronger by different elements combined together, with my elements being family, friends, even the people whom I meet everyday when I work.

3 more days to the end! So what have I learned throughout this summer?

That is still something that I have to sit down and figure out.

But one thing that I know for sure is how much parents are willing to sacrifice for their children just like how mine are doing for me and it's the one and only love in this world that will last forever.

The feeling of wanting to run away from everything but my feet won't budge. The feeling of wanting to hide but there's no place available. The feeling of wanting to share it with someone yet not knowing where to start from.

Is it because my pride is too strong to allow me to show the weak side of me?

Right now, I just want to collapse into daddy and mommy's arms and cry my heart out but they're so far away..

Suddenly something in my head popped and I turned into a much more positive person.

I don't really know what happened but I'm loving this new Yi Jing that has evolved. No more complains, a positive attitude all the time, this feeling is just GREAT!

But on the other hand, while I became more positive, I look around and realize that everything around me became much more negative!

Heard this somewhere but it's something like there are so much electrons in this universe compared to protons and these electrons are constantly going around seeking for protons to stick to. That's why you get shocks during winter when you open the doors. You know what I mean.

So now that I've probably became a proton, will I be attracting more electrons?:P Let's just see how long will I be able to sustain this positivity in me. Summer is coming and I definitely need lots of this!

The Real World

And I finally got to realize what the real world is.

The desperation that drives people to do whatever it takes to get what they want. And just the thought of not getting what they want just freaks them out. They can go to the extreme of boot licking and not even realize that they're doing it.

Does this mean that they don't have the capabilities to do what it takes for them to resort to this or is it just their nature to be doing so? This I really wonder.

Boot lickers! I look down upon you! Use your own capabilities to show that you have what it takes! Unless, in my eyes, you will always be labeled as USELESS!

I hate the real world! I don't want to be part of it!And how I wish you could disappear right in front of me this moment in time because you make me sick!

Hohoho! New blog template! I was so worried I was gonna screw it up but it turned out to be nice!LOL!

OMG I went for zumba ytd and it was awesome! Worked my whole body out so much I haven't sweat that way for such a long time! Wanted to go swimming after that but the two blockheads that were supposed to go with me had their own things to do..

Lalala I'm such a helpful person. But sometimes you just feel that you're taken for granted. Hmmm.

I still don't know how to appreciate stuff that I have! I just came back from Madison and I'm envying couples that I see on my way to and back from class? @.@

And here I am blogging again after a 3 hours drive back from Madison and a birthday celebration for two friends.

The review session that was mentioned in the previous post? I didn't have to conduct it. Professor did all the talking. I just flipped the slides. XD

My phone has a new look now!pretty cool actually. Looks like my knight in shining armor.Lalala.

I got my presents today! Well stuff that I bought online. Room's pretty messy now.Who cares? Not me!For now.lol.

Went for Indian buffet this afternoon! I'm still full from it. And I have a whole container full of 'nian gao' that's sitting right in front of me. Ahhhh. Anyone wants some?:P

The weather is so so so NICE right now! I keep having the urge to go out in shorts!hahaha.I really hope it doesn't snow again. *cross fingers*

Well, went for dinner with my professor last night only to find out that I've to conduct the review session which is tomorrow and it would be the size of a lecture hall. O.o I hope I have the relevant knowledge that i have to know to conduct it!lol

Then later into the night I was chatting with a few friends online and found out that I am pretty philosophical nowadays..lol its somehow fun to be philosophical. i know what im gonna go into after this. Counselling since I really like helping people solve problems!:)

Gtg. more and more people are coming into class and im right in front using the classroom computer!tata!

I woke up at 12.15pm today! And that was cos a friend called. =D

We talked bout a killer whale who killed its trainer when it sent the trainer flying and crashing into the wall. This happened at Sea World. O.o

I finished my homework when I was at work!

Yesterday's cny event was a partially successful one considering that we were so not on time, over budgeted but yet everyone had the best time of their lives! Well at least I did. Facebook shows it all..XD

I'm missing everyone right now. Wondering what is everyone doing? How i wish i could split myself into however many pieces and go to different places at once!

My housemate cooked something and smoked the whole house. Me and another housemate couldn't stop coughing for about 10 minutes.

I finally did my laundry!:D

I always feel good when I'm moving around and getting things done instead of sitting at home facing the lighted square on my table.

Today was one of those days.

Went to class, then to reading clinic, to the post office to send something and to collect my new phone!whoots!

My phone's old. It needs to be put to rest for now.lol.I'm so in love with my new phone right now. Sort of love at first sight?hahaha! From far it actually looks like an iphone.

After fiddling for a bit with my phone I headed to an AIESEC GMM. It was fun!:) Started off the meeting with two dances. All clubs should probably imcorporate this into their routines. :P

AND

I replied to two emails about an open shift and I got both the shifts! Today is just my lucky day! I'm all set for a marvellous spring break!:P

Yi Jing is slacking today! Woke up this morning by the intense pain in my stomach..felt like vomiting too..A voice inside me said "Yes don't hafta go to work today!"

And that was what I did.

Slept till 12+pm till Ivan called me and woke me up..stomach growling but what to eat? Decided to cook some porridge for myself..Tastes so good. Want some?=D

Thanks to the internet, I was able to plan for our road trip after this grueling internship.

Plans were not cancelled because Yi Jing Tang was convinced that swine flu is actually nothing to be scared of..mom also allowed me to go so everything is still going on as planned..

Went for my road test on Monday..I PASSED!!Thank God it wasn't the same examiner I got the first time. He failed all three of us who went for the test..>.< On the same day, I went collect my car at Minneapolis!Am now a proud owner of a 1998 Nissan Altima GXE..but it cost me USD 2800..Officially announce that my bank account is depleted..lol

All because of the stupid swine flu!!

Why does it have to happen now? Everything is so messed up right now..>.<

No more internship = no more money, but health is more important

Summer courses? No more international scholarship because the deadline was on April 1st..but I get to graduate earlier..

Jobs during summer? Hope I get one so that I won't be that bored when I'm doing my summer courses..plus money will be coming in my pockets..so that means more shopping??=p

Travel during summer? NO MONEY!! SWINE FLU!! How to go..unless some kind soul wanna sponsor me??=p

Go back to Malaysia? Mom says it's dangerous to travel now. Plus not earning money but spending over 1k to go back..

Work when I go back to Malaysia? Where to find job? Even if I find one, I won't be able to recoup my air ticket fare..

Go to Madison for my whole summer? Kind of a good idea but I'll be so damn bored when no one's at home..

Any ideas people??HELP!!!

Our initial plan was to go to Wisconsin Dells because there are lots of theme parks there..but too bad the weather is still cold so the outdoor theme parks are all closed..we rented a car but din know where to go..

Finally it was time to go back..Yi Jing had to go down to Kansas the next day so couldn't stay for the weekend. Left at 1am after staying for about 10 hours in Michigan..lol

Spring break @ Madison

Time flies..Spring break was like three weeks ago.??lol sorry for the late update..having some problem with my lappie now..haha..ok back to topic..

As usual, I went to Madison again..Don't blame me!It's not my fault..*angelic smile*

So what how did my one week of spring break passed so fast? I was definitely having fun since there were the residents of apartment 811..

Started with the post birthday celebration for Mr Lim. This was what we had most of the night..
Sangria - mixture of red wine, lemon juice, ginger ale, and all the different fruits that you see..I got drunk by drinking this..>.<

The weather that week at Madison was just so suitable for a bbq and that was what we did..Had a bbq at James Madison Park..played volleyball, soccer, frisbee while waiting for the pit to be set up..

Ello ppl! Yi Jing is having her spring break now! And she's enjoying it!=D

No papers due 2moro..able to slp till 11/12 and wake up lazing around..watch dramas all day long..nonsense-ing around..THIS IS LIFE!!!XD

Was singing karaoke on youtube last night, went to playing cards after that, watched a few videos by the three lovers of 811 and decided that we should also come up with a video..ended up making the video of 811 of 'Wu Ding'..FUN!!

David Cook was here at my campus on 02/18/2009!! Jealous??XD It was a last minute decision for me cos a friend had an extra ticket and so I had the chance to watch David Cook LIVE!! Tickets were sold out within one hour after booths were open..CRAZY!! Ran like crazy too cos I only got to know about the extra ticket 10 mins before doors open..can go participate in 100m dash next time d..lolDoors opened at 7pm, we got into the hall at about 7.15pm, waited for and hour and 15 minutes before the MCs came out..so while waiting, PICTURE TIME!!David Cook items!!It's only for 10 bucks

Vday is here!!I had to work at the frontdesk in the morning and something funny happened..This guy came in and he was holding a vase and he asked where is room 312..As he was walking up the stairs, I realised that was my room!!I was so happy thinking that Bernard wants to give me a surprise so I waited for the guy to come back..He said no one answered the door (like duh im working and roommate is back home) so he wants to leave it at the frontdesk. So I started scrutinizing the flower and saw a card..On it was XIUTING WANG ROOM 313..That's my neighbor la!!And so it was the mistake of the guy who cant differentiate between a 2 and a 3..

Enjoying the darkness while writing this post. NOT lol

I finally have some time to relax and breath..the past few weeks had been crazy for me..and this will be continuing for the rest of this semester..@.@

Definition of CRAZY: English assignments due everyday (Mon-Thurs); Psych assignments due every mon, wed, thurs; online discussions every week; quizzes every week. Professors dont teach in class, they just give you questions and you discuss..>.< It might not sound CRAZY to you but I had such a relaxing semester last fall that I have so much to catch up now!!

So, what have I been up to lately? I just came back from a Valentine Potluck..gonna go for a Valentine buffet and also a rice party tomorrow..had a mini CNY celebration at Ivan's room (played cards, had wine)..'lou sang-ed' on the last day of CNY..went to Tennessee on the 1st weekend after school started..oh I miss the greeneries there..

Been pretty healthy too..Taking a kinesiology class this semester..working out every day, 3-4 days a week..I'm more flexible now..lol I took a real age test just now and they said my body's age is only 16!!hahaha!But there's like an epidemic going on in my campus now..everyone's getting flu and cough and professors are cancelling classes..But how come none of mine cancelled class??>.<

Road trip + MOA

This happened sometime in September I think..I don't remember..=p Well, in my campus, there's this program for international students where each of them who are in it are assigned a local family as their host for the period they are studying here..
Rick and Mindy Merryfield as my host parents..I don't really know much about their background though..Know that they have 3 children..Rick is a firefighter and Mindy works in UWEC in Publications (designs web page, flyers, ads). I also have a host sister from Brazil, Debora who's majoring in journalism..

So because of our hectic schedules, we seldom meet up..Mindy thus planned an outing for us and off we went for a road trip..Fall is here and leaves started turning colors..It was just so beautiful when you drive on the freeway with rows of colorful trees on both sides of the road..

Action City!!

Okay doing more back-dating now since I stopped blogging for a few months..This post contains much excitement and is action packed!!Are you ready??

Action City in Eau Claire!!It's a mini theme park about half an hour from campus..So one Thursday in September 2008, the residents of Katharine Thomas Hall put on their 'action-cap' and of they went to Action City!!

There was even a bus that operate to specially drive students from campus over to Action City..we call it the 'Blue Party Bus'..

It's like paintball but you substitute paint with laser guns..Guess what Kay and me did..We went in alone, got bored, and we stood face to face shooting one another..

Bernard n me went had dinner with Joe, Bernard's calculus classmate..He brought us to Benvenuto's an Italian restaurant about 15 mins away from our place..

This is Joe with the waitress's signature..she could write upside down so well man..I think that it's a waste of talent for her to be a waitress..but on the other hand, she serves really well too..pretty too..lol

Better not open the menu when you're hungry..you'll either end up ordering everything or you'll flood the whole place..

Too bad I'm not 21..cant order anything..well just looking at it would be enough for now I guess..*sighs*

I just realised how long it has been since I blogged about what happened here..Dont blame me..blame the blog..=p someone please help me fix my blog..T.T I wanna post pictures but they come out crazy..

So what were some major activities that happened within this period of time?

1. Halloween!
- Went to Madison for Halloween..was a totally last minute thing..lucky I found a friend who was going down there to meet her sis..nothing much happened there..went to State St where there was a freakfest and everyone was dressed up (including me-pic can be seen at Bernard's blog =p) I almost freezed to death in that costume..OMG!! Other than that, spent some quality time with bf walking along Observatory Drive looking at the scenery, watched a movie, ate some dumplings..hehe..was suffering from Eau Claire-blues when I got back..

2. Action City!
- My hall, KT, organized a trip to Action City, which is basically a mini theme park located bout 20 mins away from campus..there were go-karts, bumper cars, rock climbing, laser tag, those car racing machines, and also a 3-D video clip cum vibration chair thingy..play all you want for 15 bucks in 2 hours!a normal go-kart ride once would cost like 5/6 bucks..great deal?

- The go-kart was so much fun!it's the only place in the US where I can drive!!think my driving skills were quite good..din bang into anything..xp

- Didnt get to ride the bumper cars but was playing on the 3-D thing..Kay, a floormate of mine was like shouting all the way through when it wasn't scary at all and she made me shout as well..=.= think ppl were thinking we are crazy..even small kids didn't shout..super no face..but it was fun!hehe

- Went rock climbing..seems easy?hell no..had to had so much upper body strength in order to climb..I couldn't even reach like halfway up..and I was on the easy side..sad case..out of so many of us who climb, there was only one girl who could reach the top..

- Then was laser tag..its sth like paintball where you cant get shoot and there's like walls all over just that you use laser..so high tech..it is supposed to be a many people game but only me n Kay went in ourselves..so noob!we were like standing face to face and shooting each other..=.=''' and we didn't dare come out cos they said it was for 7 mins..super noob!!

- And the trip to Action City made me realise that American guys are so ungentleman..all of them rushed up the bus, they were sitting on the seats and us girls were sitting on the floor..sweat..

3. Pad Thai & Quantum of Solace

- Yes finally able to go out after stuck in the campus for so super long!!Pad Thai is a Hmong restaurant located in Downtown selling Thai food..had traditional thai fried rice, super spicy, less, Less, LESS sugar!!dont know why their fried rice is even sweet..the food there was really nice..tried Jen's tomyam..I felt like I was in Thailand..hahaha

- 007 was up next..James Bond is like multi-talented la..can drive car, operate speedboat, can operate plane summore..throughout the whole movie, think the fighting scenes were the nicest..hahaha! I couldn't understand it at first and I couldn't ask anyone cos all of us had to sit separately..that was SO SO SO sad!! I only understood it after I came out from the cinema..lol

4. Secret

- Jay Chou's movie..me and a few of my floormates were in my RA's room watching..her room is so romantic and comfortable..I so wanna move in there..hahaha..

5. Thanksgiving!

- No confirmed plans yet but most probably going back with my roommate to Hudson..hope she doesn't go partying all night..ill cry till whole Hudson floods..=p

6. Thank you everyone for reading this super long post and sorry for not updating it earlier..hehe..

I'm feeling so sleepy now..>.< went to sleep at 12+ but couldnt sleep till I dont know wad time..haih..N I had cls at 8 dis morning..weather getting colder each day..but im still wearing the same amount of clothes..prove that I have a thick layer of fat??T.T

Went to Leinenkugel Brewery and also an antique house last weekend..after that, went to a play about homosexuals during the holocaust..the actor really have 'profession spirit' (understand wad I mean la hor..I'm too tired to think now..lol)two guys who were gay partners actually kissed mouth to mouth..imagine that..

I've been going for dance classes every Sunday..learnt swing, waltz, tango, and two Latin dances but I forget it the moment I reach my room..hahaha..

Okay I've been electro-shocked by the doors nowadays..and I fear opening doors now..isshh..

I've also been easily irritated lately..feeling moody and crappy when I'm alone..hate this feeling..

I should go take a nap now before I continue with more nonsensical blogging..lol sorry for the unorganized points in this post..I shall go get some beauty sleep now..tata!

International Potluck '08

Went to Altoona Lake for the potluck..its about half an hour drive from Eau Claire..nice place..Okay, potluck is basically like a gathering where family brings something to the party..my host mom made fruit salad and oatmeal cookies..they were wonderful..=)

No pictures this time..didnt reli have the mood to take pics..hahaha..we queued for about 15 mins to get food (err I might be exaggerating)..we ate, had SMORES!!, and went out for our star gazing lesson!!

Our teacher, Giselle was so knowledgeable..she had so many stories about Greek mythology that was associated with the constellations..it was cool..we were talking about the story about a sea monster and the water started getting rough..sea monster coming!!oops..hehe..

Had nice food (Smores especially), learnt about stars and their stories..what else could you expect?? It was such a fun potluck!!

Going to an international food party tomorrow at 7, a brewery on Sat morning, attending a play (Bent) on Sat night, Two-to-Tango on Sun night..it shall be a busy buy fun weekend ahead for me!!C ya peeps..=D

I shall blog now since my roommate is so noisy and I cant study..>.< (good excuse right?)

You might be wondering what is Homecoming..According to Wikipedia, Homecoming is "welcoming back of former residents and alumni, is a tradition in many universities, colleges, and high schools in North America..It usually includes activities for students and alumni, such as sports and cultural events and a parade through the streets of the city or town.

So what are some of the activities during homecoming? I guess the highlight of Homecoming week would be the PARADE and also the FOOTBALL GAME!! There are also activities like window painting, sand sculpture, etc, etc, etc...lol

On Sat morning, at 9.30am, when the temperature here was I think 1C/2C, in a sweatshirt and jeans with sport shoes, went for breakfast at Water St (a street full of bars)..we went to a coffee house la..lol..

That was exactly what I did. We left campus at 4.45pm on Fri in a school bus, reached there at about 5.20pm. Started our ice breaking session where you had to tell your partner 1. What was the most interesting thing you did in summer 2. Why did you come for the retreat 3. What animal are you the most scared of using only body language..It was hard..haha..Played some football in a nearby field and it was dinner time!!

The best part of the whole retreat was the 'Ghost Hike' where we went hiking into the jungle at 12am..=.= but all of us went..haha..it started okay, everyone was talking and laughing and singing and then halfway through, all of us were like so quiet and we heard a woman scream like just behind us!! Those ppl behind me were like running into me, I got scared, ran into the person in front of me, and everyone started running..LOL! A girl got so scared that she pee-ed in her pants! Finally it was over and we went to a field nearby, sat down there and gazed at stars..i've never seen so many stars at one time in my whole entire life..it was just so cool..And I learnt how to see stars!!hehe..

chatted till 2+ and went in cos it was too cold outside..Everyone was aslp when we went back so we were the only ones in the main lodge..guess what did we do??

Surprise @ Madison

Yup went to Madison to surprise Bernard last weekend..hahaha..reached there at bout 7.30..walked around West Town Mall wif some of Bernard's frens, ate dinner den went back to his apartment..he went out for dinner when we got there..so his frens were like 'Bernard u come back immediately..got a big surprise for u..' everyone was like so excited for me..hahaha..when Bernard came back, they were practically pushing me into the cupboard..haha

So that was basically my surprise for him..hehe..it was a super short weekend la..well time flies when u're shopping rite??kekeke..it's all Bernard's fault I spent so much money..if it wasn't his bdae, I wouldn't have went down to Madison n so I wouldn't have the chance to go shopping and spend money..XD

Orientation Week

Second post for today..lol im kinda free now since I only hafta go out at 9pm..there's a moonlight mixer behind my dorm..dont ask me what is it..I dont know..haha

First day of orientation wasn't cool at all..Moved in to the dorms early in the morning like at 8am and at 10am we had to be in the Tamarak Room, the room we have orientation..registered and stuff and went over to my group and our peer guide was Teresa..she's such a sweet and nice person..why did i say so?

Okay that was like the only picture that i took on the first day..haha..Ooh after orientation on the second day, we had an ice cream social at Owen Park..it was definitely cool..

Let's c what did i do over here with my host family..

We walked around the farm that they own and its seriously big..that whole land is theirs..

Its blackberry that we found when we were walking..its so sweet n nice..

The horses they own..four of them..2 male 2 females..but i only manage to capture 3 of them..haha..

We then went tour around my campus, UWEC and this picture was taken by the Chippewa River that flows thru my campus..

that was basically the first day of activities..think there are more pictures but in my host mom's cam..haha..

We went biking the next day from Wayside all the way to Carson Park where there is a festival going on there..we cycled for like almost 10km and that makes it 20km to and fro..hoo reli did lots of exercise today..

Food in the US are all so huge in size and are always so greasy and fattening..Like the examples below..

The next day, I went horse riding on the horses that are owned by my host family..

There they are all nice and cosy in the barn..

This is Nikita, one of the dogs at home who could play catch..she has this frisbee that wont fly when i throw it..lol..

I didnt get pictures of me on the horses with my camera tho..but i think i looked cool..wahaha!

So after we were done riding horses, Rick, my host dad wanted to train the youngest horse so that he could take her on the trip to Colorado..He put like pots and pans in a bag and onto the horse's back..She was terrified of the noise that it made and she started running like a wild horse..She knocked down Rick, turned a few times outside the barn and started running in, towards me!I am so lucky that i stood between two tractors which gave me space to get out of her way..Phew..She got past me, ran into a wall and knocked down a gate..She got injured and was bleeding..poor thing..

Then I got on to the 4wd which was parked outside the barn..the dogs started barking and gnarling somehow asking me not to get on it..One of the dogs was even bitting and pulling on my jeans..now it has a hole in it..>.< but it was fun although i nearly lost control of it a couple of times..the stering was hard to turn..hehe..

2nd day in Eau Claire

Woke up at 12+ today cause one of the dogs came in and stood next to my bed..got a shock..my host sister, Debora was already here with her mom..she's from Brazil..had lunch with them and then we took a walk around the farm that my host parents own..it was windy and a perfect weather for a walk..saw horses reared by them..big and strong..and then we headed to the city and downtown..

First stop: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
Walked around campus from the Arts and Music building to the main building to the library, went past my dorm cause we couldnt get in, went stroll by the river, took pics there.

Second stop: Grand Avenue cafe
Had tea here..I ordered ice-cream with caramel toppings..nice..never eaten something like dat b4..forgot to take pic of it tho..lol..

Third stop: Sandy's
Its sort of a boutique but they also sell stuff like cards, vases, clocks,etc..its very different from what we c back in malaysia..haha..

We went to a few more stores which were like the first one cause Debora's mom wanted to buy something back to Brazil..

Last stop: Tour around the house
I reached home very late last night so Mindy, my host mom said she'll tour me 2dae..it has3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a laundry room..my room is downstairs next to a bathroom..

Next update might be tonight..Im gonna hav pizzas for dinner tonight..*smiles* C ya then,,

Yo ppl..Finally I get to sit and lie on a comfortable bed..Sorry for not updating you all everytime I transit cos in Japan, there wasnt free internet access, in Chicago I was already too tired to look for where it is, in Minneapolis I couldnt get on9 using my own laptop..but in conclusion, the journey was a super tiring one!!my goodness..

After transitting at Singapore, I had to sit in the plane for 6 and a half hours..I couldnt feel my butt by the time I stood to go to the lavatory (they call it that on the plane)..n that was only after like 4 hours of sitting..

In Tokyo Narita
Couldnt go online, no access to any telephone network, missing my family..It was super horrible for me..nothing to do so took out my book and read for like few pages and I got bored and so I was looking outside of the window where the workers were loading luggages into the plane..N guess wad, it was time for 11 hours of flight from Tokyo to Chicago..*faints*

In the plane
Boarded the plane and I started switching channels..there were a few nice movies but in the end I fell asleep..haha..woke up when the flight attendants woke us up for dinner..pics shall be posted when I get to hostel and have already settled down..hehe..watched movie for a while and continued sleeping..tired..but the seats were so uncomfortable I kept waking up..isshh..but but but one nice thing would be the handsome n gentleman guy who sat beside me..was v caring towards me..lol..jkn only la dear..heehee..N we reached chicago..

In Chicago
my final transit!!was super tired by the time I got here..first the custom check..den had to collect luggage n den re-check in again..then had to go thru second round of custom check after taking a train from terminal 5 to terminal 1..n y muz airports be so big?had to walk so far to get to the boarding area..was looking at 'ang mohs' eating super huge burgers and pizzas..the smell was tempting also but one guy bought sth with cheese and it made me feel like puking..haha..

On the plane to Minneapolis
this flight was only a short one as Chicago is very near to Minneapolis..dont know exactly how many miles away tho..im using miles..not KM..lol..but i slept thru the whole journey..haha..tired la..

Yeah as what my title says im at Changi Airport now..I shall update some stuff everytime Im transitting..hehe..

So, my trip started at about noon today..parents wanted to leave early in case something crops up halfway..so i reached KLIA at about 5.30..call me kiasu..wadeva..Its my first time flying off alone to somewhere so far la..lucky there's Chloe flying with me..think if not ill already be gg crazy now..haha..

Sis and mom was there taking pics all around the airport..din hav the mood to take with them but stil had to force out a smile..i was sad, reluctant, n was having mixed feelings that no words could describe..

Finally it was time to enter the boarding area..Mom hugged me and started crying..Tears were in my eyes but they din drop..Next up was sis..She wasnt crying when i hugged her..guessed she was influenced by mom..haha..dad did not cry at all..guy mayb..ai mian zhi..kekeke..

After entering the boarding area and seeing the plane that would take me to Changi I got excited..It was so long ago that i took a plane..haha..got a bit airsick in the plane..stil a bit now cos mayb im already tired but not slping..hope i don fall sick..

Think ill update till here..should go get some rest edi..plus i only have like 15 mins of internet usage per session..haha..adios ppl..gdnite!!

Ok I forced my mom to drive me back from kajang..I said one sentence-" This would be the last time you can fetch me back to Inti edi"

She agreed immediately..

I feel so bad now..haih..she worked so hard for me just to let me go overseas for my studies..It's hearbreaking to see her work so hard and end up so tired at the end of the day all because of ME!!='((

N just now when we were gonna reach Inti, she suddenly said 'wow time really flies. The day when I came n drop you off here at Inti seemed like just few days ago. Now u're here for 1 yr and 8 months edi and u're gg 2 US soon...' Tears were at the brink of my eyes, but I didn't want mom to see the weak side of me..

I shall always be strong, like how mom strived so hard for me, for my sis, for this family..I will always remember the effort she put into raising me up, providing for me, giving me a good life..

And not forgetting daddy, who was always there to advice me on stuff, always borrowed me a helping hand when i had probs, always giving me pocket money to spend on stuff I like, who was my 'driver' for the past so many that didn't receive any salary, who will be the one that I look for only when i don have enuf money, who was the one who got me out of trouble when mom starts scolding me, who will always be the H-E-R-O in my heart..

Daddy and mommy, really hope that both of you can reconcile cause not only both of u are suffering, sis n I are too, especially sis..I think that she deserves more love than she actually has now cause I had it once upon a time..

Im at Kajang now, in my mom's off, using her computer, while listening to her colleagues talk..haha..U might be wondering why I'm here..Well, went back to Ipoh during the weekends to visit my maternal grandma..been so long since I saw her..

Before I even reached, she was edi busy preparing nice food for me..could smell the aroma of those food even before i step into the house..yum yum..Cuz opened the door 4 me..she looked so cute!!!7 yrs old dis yr..so guai..n she kept tagging me everywhere i went..hehe..den grandma came out from the kitchen..She looked so small n petite n fragile..like the wind could easily blow her away to a faraway place..but the food she cook taste fabulous..couldnt resist myself from eating..hahaha..sorry dear..=p

Everyone who saw me kept saying that I grew up edi..become more lady-like d (i was edi lady-like since last time leh..xp) my ''ee cheong" came back from work n he started kacau-ing me..well he always does dat since i was young..he's always so humorous..he started scaring my mom dat I'll hafta look 4 american bf d..hahaha..=p n my mom started 'praising' bernard seah kok ren!!no fair!!haha..

after dinner, mom was inside the room talking to grandma..din wanna enter cos i noe they'll be discussing bout me..bout how much my mom hafta fork out for me to study there n stuff..n i always feel so guilty..T.T i promise ill study hard when i go over to US mommy!!(but ill play hard also!rite 'mei yi'??=p)

That was basically what we did for our farewell and I think today you would have seen a few pandas walking around Inti..We seriously had lots of fun but too bad the others cant enjoy it with us..Our laughters, our sorrowness, our panicking, our anger, our fun together shall always be kept in our hearts and it is now you, the 13th Intima AUP Club committees who will going through what we have gone through..hoho..

Ahh I'm finally clean n fresh n smelling nice too..haha..was so super hot the whole day today..sweating all over when I'm only sitting watching movies in my room..imagine that..haih..no aircond summore..sweat..my room is an oven..and im being roasted in the oven so that makes me a roasted human??LOL..

So other then watching movies what did I do?? Went hand up assignment at 2+ n had to walk under the hot sun cos lazy wanna take the long route..hehe..came back all hot n sweaty..came back, started chatting wif ppl n then tot of gg to pasar malam..so ended up at 6+, yi jing, wan yi, michelle, jeff went pasar malam together..haha..what did we buy 4 our dinner??

murtabak (yi jing, wan yi)
glutinous rice (yi jing, wan yi, michelle)
chicken chop (michelle, yi jing)
1 buck punya nasi lemak which tasted horrible (jeff)
soya bean + cincau (jeff, michelle, yi jing, wan yi)
some nuts (yi jing)
some indian food (jeff)
some very sweet ABC drink (jeff)
kueh tiau or however it is spelt (jeff)
some kind of kuih (bought buy somebody)

Ended up, all of us were super full and super bloated from all those food so wanted to walk to block R..we ended up at tofu street (a street where lots of couples 'pat toh') talking from sex to trips to US to people to couples and back to sex again..wahaha..after all that talking, what did we do next??

Tiang + net + ball + people = Basketball

We played midnight basketball..haha..we were all noobies at basketball..
wan yi who screams when people stands in front of her if she's holding the ball..
jeff who thinks he can shoot a 3-point ball but most of the time fails..=p
michelle who looks like a mad woman playing cos her hair wasnt tied up..XD
yi jing who pulls people's shirt just to stop the person from getting the ball..

Ok time for some updates..=p Went back home last weekend so couldnt update blog cos there wasnt internet connection at home..=.='' well there will be soon cos Im gg 2 US soon and my sis would want to contact me..hahaha..

Main point is....SHOPPING!!!

Mom went back to JB as well so we went shopping together..aiks I just remembered dat i forgot to take pics of us shopping..sad..

And the best thing was Bernard became our bag stand..x) Should have seen him while shopping with three ladies (me, mom, sis)..ahah..he was so bored that he was sleeping all the way while we were gg in and out of the fitting room..LOL! Sorry ar dear 'chun bou' (cantonese) edi..heehee..=p

Next main point...CLUBBING!!!

Coffee trap..Nice name rite? Its act the name of the cafe so I didnt really go clubbing..haha..should i say i went cafe-ing??=p Went hang out there with dear on sat nite..quite a nice place..nice ambience..food also quite nice..^.^ N guess wad?? I drove there..LOL!=.=''

Err i should act go finish up my CSC assignment d..shall update bout install nite some other day la..de connection now is terrible..N i was just praising bout it a few hours ago..sad..c ya!!

Ok he's on the way home now..I almost cried when he hugged me but I didnt cos Jeff n SG was there..lol..

I am sad but I guess his parents n siblings muz be even sadder than me while he was studying here..can only c him like once every few months..his siblings were like so happy to see him..sis kept clinging onto him..his bros help him do this do that..so I musnt be selfish..now is the time for him to reunite with his family..=)

And maybe I should take this time to appreciate him cos people always start treasuring stuff after they lose it..haha..I shall stop here for now..

Yay new t-shirts and watches for yi jing!!=p went petaling street yesterday..the whole street was like so packed with people there was hardly any space to walk..lots of cheap stuff to buy there..the best thing was to bargain with the sellers..even saw this website that teaches people how to bargain..haha..damn shiok when u get something at the price you want..hehehe..

Although I bought like so much stuff, Im not happy now..haih..Dear's going back tomorrow afternoon..Dont even know when will be the next time I see him..sobx..=''''( Im gonna miss him so much..guess Ill just blog till here..no mood to blog edi..till then..

Mad celebration..=P

What mad celebration?? Its to actually celebrate the success of our Retro Party..but only half the committees came..should i be sad or happy?? Sad cos not all of us could party last nite but happy cos got more food for me to eat!!! Wahahaha!!

So what was so MAD about the celebration?? Him and her were like celebrities and everyone was taking pictures of them both..and the point is they willingly let them take..haha.. After filling our stomachs, we started playing Mafia (is it called Mafia?? i dont know..) I was mafia twice.. And the first time I was it, everyone knew who the mafias were and they wanted to eliminate all of us at once..haha..

Done with the kiling and also the detective part.

Next up is Bluff.. Well, most of the people left but now is the time we get high n crazy!! Losers dance the YMCA dance outside the room!! Losers do push-ups in front of the customers!! was laughing like crazy..cos i was the only girl so I din hafta do any of the punishments..=D

Anyway, thanks guys for being so sporting which allowed me to do some stomach exercise..hehe..

Excited + excited = yi jing

Guess all of you know that there are more and more couples around in inti..another new couple just got together just now, thanks to me n bernard..Wahaha..I shall not say who it is but you'll know one day..=P

Then came this couple which sat right outside my window and behaving intimately..had a nice time watching a porno yet not porno movie..XD

And so the laughter started when my roommate came back and she started shouting at them..there wasn't any reply from them..not even stopping to check out where the sound was coming from..

she continued shouting and they continued behaving intimately and i was there laughing till my stomach ached...

I really wonder how they manage to be so thick skin.
1. They are RIGHT OUTSIDE my window and i can see whatever they are doing VERY CLEARLY
2. They are kissing and hugging each other at such an open space
3. Me and my roommate were talking and laughing so loudly but yet they can continue (I think both of them are deaf, that's y)

Ok im done doing some stomach exercise as well as some finger exercise.. Shall head to my pillow and bolster for now..

Busy week over...

Sorry for the late post people..was kinda busy the past week..let's c wad made me so busy..

1. history test and csc tutorial which i studied so last min..i din reli seemed to care wad i got also..haih..

2. 4th of july,where i was de sponsorship director..so b4 the event i had 2 go look for sponsors together wif my partner cum bodyguard, adrian..hehe (don get angry yea)..=p

3. intiball and till the day b4 i did not bother about my hair n make up..so fri nite i panicking about de ball..

4. and yea my visa's expiry date is the 18th of Dec 2008, which is like less than half a yr from now..but lucky mom gonna settle that for me..thankew!!!

about the details for 4th of july and Intiball, i guess i'll update you guys some other day..plus the pictures..=)
