Finally a day off..=D

Yi Jing is slacking today! Woke up this morning by the intense pain in my stomach..felt like vomiting too..A voice inside me said "Yes don't hafta go to work today!"

And that was what I did.

Slept till 12+pm till Ivan called me and woke me up..stomach growling but what to eat? Decided to cook some porridge for myself..Tastes so good. Want some?=D

Thanks to the internet, I was able to plan for our road trip after this grueling internship.

August 18, 2009 - Start exploring Miami

August 19, 2009 - More fun at Miami then driving to Orlando to meet up with the Disney characters

August 20, 2009 - Disneyworld, Orlando, FL

August 21, 2009 - Total immense in Orlando

August 22, 2009 - Drive to Daytona and enjoy the sunshine and the beaches there

August 23, 2009 - Farewell to Florida

August 24, 2009 - Lorraine Motel, Memphis, Tennessee + drive to Iowa

August 25, 2009 - Iowa + Nebraska + Eau Claire

August 26, 2009 - Home sweet home =)

Last day of work!

Fortunately and unfortunately, it's my last day of work today..last day for me to serve the residents of Katherine Thomas hall while they're soundly sleeping...I'm on the watch for thieves..lol (trying to sound magnanimous)

Last day of work = No more money coming in

Last day of work = I get enough beauty sleep

Anyway I'm getting off work in 13 minutes..And off to bed!!Oh how I miss it my soft soft pillow and my warm warm blankie..

Okay I know my sentences don't connect..but who cares!XD

Done with finals on Wednesday and off I am again to Madison!Darlings, don't kill me..I'll go visit you when I'm done with my intern k?=D (Madison again cos I just went there the past weekend..=p)

1998 Nissan Altima GXE

Plans were not cancelled because Yi Jing Tang was convinced that swine flu is actually nothing to be scared of..mom also allowed me to go so everything is still going on as planned..

Went for my road test on Monday..I PASSED!!Thank God it wasn't the same examiner I got the first time. He failed all three of us who went for the test..>.< On the same day, I went collect my car at Minneapolis!Am now a proud owner of a 1998 Nissan Altima GXE..but it cost me USD 2800..Officially announce that my bank account is depleted..lol

I shall now head back to my books..hope i get to update once before going for my intern because i don't think there'll be any internet connection..till then ppl..Have a Happy Summer break!!^.^

Dilemna

All because of the stupid swine flu!!

Why does it have to happen now? Everything is so messed up right now..>.<

No more internship = no more money, but health is more important

Summer courses? No more international scholarship because the deadline was on April 1st..but I get to graduate earlier..

Jobs during summer? Hope I get one so that I won't be that bored when I'm doing my summer courses..plus money will be coming in my pockets..so that means more shopping??=p

Travel during summer? NO MONEY!! SWINE FLU!! How to go..unless some kind soul wanna sponsor me??=p

Go back to Malaysia? Mom says it's dangerous to travel now. Plus not earning money but spending over 1k to go back..

Work when I go back to Malaysia? Where to find job? Even if I find one, I won't be able to recoup my air ticket fare..

Go to Madison for my whole summer? Kind of a good idea but I'll be so damn bored when no one's at home..

Any ideas people??HELP!!!

Okay sorry for being MIA for so long..pictures were uploaded on facebook though..hehe..As promised, this post will be about our trip to Michigan!

Yi Jing: So are we still going to Wisconsin Dells since the outdoor theme parks are not open?

Zhao Siang: Indoor one for kids lah..

Bernard: Yeah..so where should we go?

Our initial plan was to go to Wisconsin Dells because there are lots of theme parks there..but too bad the weather is still cold so the outdoor theme parks are all closed..we rented a car but din know where to go..

Bernard: Eh why not we go to Michigan??

Zhao Siang: Good idea! Let's go!

Yi Jing: Nods her head but continues eating..lol

We tried calling people but because it was a last minute plan, no one wanted to go..we decided at 9+pm and we headed out at 6am..

And we were on our way..

Visited Jessica and the rest but didn't take picture..I don't know for what reason..but before leaving we Jess was already asleep and all of us took one with sleeping beauty Jess..=D

Oh ya and while we were eating dinner, out rented car got towed away..ended up paying an extra 230 bucks to get it back..@.@

Moral of the story is be careful where you park in the US if you do not have a parking permit.

Finally it was time to go back..Yi Jing had to go down to Kansas the next day so couldn't stay for the weekend. Left at 1am after staying for about 10 hours in Michigan..lol
